Today we welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, to St Mary’s, East Barnet, to open our new community halls.
We were able to speak about the church’s work to create a great space for hospitality and the use of the whole local community; and our other projects which seek to build up the church and its involvement with community activities and other centres in East Barnet.
This was a small event, and its format was defined by the nature of the Prince’s visit; but there will be a public service and party to celebrate the completion of the halls building project on Sunday 19 February at 10am.
Please put that date in your diaries now, but come and see these excellent new facilities before then!
